  • Description

Produced by Takagi Shuzo in Yamagata Prefecture, this sake carries the legacy of Japan’s traditional sake grading system, which classified sake into "Bessen" (Special Selection), "Jousen" (Superior Selection), and "Kasen" (Fine Selection)—with "Bessen" being the highest tier. Compared to the previous "Bessen" (Special Selection), this version has an improved polishing ratio from 50% to 45%, enhancing its refined quality.

This sake belongs to the "Kunshu" category, characterized by a light, delicate profile with the aroma of fully ripened fruit. It is recommended to be served in a white wine glass, gently swirled to concentrate its fragrance within the glass. Take a moment to inhale the Ginjo bouquet before savoring its intricate layers of flavor.

The term "Morohaku" was historically used in Japan to describe premium sake. The "Haku" (white) in its name symbolizes purity, representing the clean and crisp flavor of sake, the high-grade quality of the rice used, and the polished whiteness of the grains—also reminiscent of the snowy brewing season.
